Pat Testing

Portable Applicance Testing (PAT) is testing of all portable applicances at the workplace, by a licensed electrician in order to ensure that these are still in good working order and safe to use. Once successfully tested, a PAT certificate is issued which is a pre-requisite document for the renewal of annual insurance of the workplace building, its equipment and work activity. Apart from satisfying legal requirements, this ensures a high level of safety and the avoidance of risk of a fire from faulty electrical equipment which might be in use.
